Learn some new accents (and prepare for the CLES)
If you'd like to strengthen your English Language skills, the Speech Accent Archive gives you an opportunity to listen to samples of language in English with different accents. Use this link to the archive, click on the map, and listen up (a transcription accompanies the samples). Have fun!

The CLES
You are encouraged to take the test called CLES, "Certificat de Compétences en Langues de l'Enseignement Supérieur." The exam will be held this year on the Campus at Caen for levels 1 and 2.
There are three levels to the exam:
Level 1: ability to resolve problems relating to Erasmus students.
Level 2: ability to speak about social issues.
Level 3: ability to use English in your disciplinary field.
Prepare for the CLES by using ressources available through the Language Lab of the University of Caen (you will need to enter your student code "etupass" or "persopass"):
